How to find your air purifier model number

Start with the purifier model number, not the filter shape. Many brands sell several filters that look similar but differ by gasket height, tabs, carbon layer, or regional model family.

Check these places first

  1. Rear or underside rating label: Look for a printed model such as Core 300, AP-1512HH, 5500-2, AC4825, or HPA300.
  2. Inside the filter door: Some purifiers print the replacement filter code near the access panel or on a small service sticker.
  3. Old filter frame: Use this as supporting evidence only. A filter SKU helps, but the purifier model confirms whether that SKU is the right version.
  4. Manual or order history: Match the model number from the manual, receipt, or retailer account against the label on the unit before buying.
Fit warning: Similar-looking filters can differ by gasket, height, or regional model variant.

Before you click a retailer link

Compare the purifier model, OEM SKU, dimensions, and any listed compatible model group. If a third-party filter page only says "fits most" or lists a broad brand family without your exact model, treat it as unverified until the dimensions and SKU line up.

Retailer links may be affiliate links. That does not change the compatibility order, fit warnings, or our practice of avoiding fake live price and availability claims.

Model-number FAQ

Can I buy a filter by shape alone?

No. Use the purifier model label and OEM SKU first because similar-looking filters can differ by gasket, tabs, height, or regional model family.

What if the old filter has a SKU but the purifier label is hard to read?

Use the old filter SKU as a clue, then compare the compatible model list, dimensions, and manual or order history before choosing a retailer listing.

Should I trust a retailer listing that says it fits a whole brand family?

Treat broad brand-family claims as unverified until the listing names your exact purifier model and matches the filter SKU or dimensions.
